We worked closely with multiple stakeholders including the developer and tenants to translate the designer's vision and creative concept into a vibrant and functional space, all within the guidelines from the City of Berkeley.
The project involved repositioning an existing industrial complex for a blend of uses including creative office, light manufacturing, life science labs and R&D facilities. The finished space features signature exposed bow-truss ceilings throughout. In addition to offices, an Amphitheater LAB, Presentation LAB and other bespoke facilities, the building offers cutting-edge amenities including a boutique fitness center, an expansive indoor-outdoor private mezzanine overlooking the San Francisco Bay, an outdoor collaborative area and a second floor roof deck.
